I don’t see a lot of that and I keep out of the political discussions as they quickly turn into shouting matches. The Fox News posters get blocked permanently.

re: #56 jaunte
There’s been a long standing notion that the words of a President have weight and hold merit and the media should report on them as such.
That won’t fly with Trump because he spews so much bullshit. Almost every single fucking thing he says is a lie or a gross distortion of the truth.
And the media won’t call him on it for three reasons:
1) They fail to comprehend how abnormal and bizzare this Presidency is.
2) They don’t want to lose their precious access.
3) They need the clicks/viewers/followers
News departments are just another corporate division that needs to turn a profit. The first three Estates have corrupted and defanged the Fourth.
And just so we have it preserved for posterity, here’s a screenshot of Kemp’s accusations against Democrats on the Georgia Secretary of State home page, which many voters will use for accessing voter information the next few days pic.twitter.com/hEG1i5kpYg

This is a hell of an article: Hidden Motives behind Key GOP Leaders’ Cooperation with Trump & Russia: An Evidence-based Examination of Irrational Behaviors & the Republican Congress Members Who Exhibit Them
The next logical step is to question whether the GOP’s seemingly self-destructive behavior stems from non-policy concerns that have yet to be discovered. This line of thinking naturally leads us to one glaring vulnerability within the Republican party that may shed some light on their conduct. Although former Republican National Conference (RNC) chairman, Reince Priebus, repeatedly denied that the RNC emails were violated, it has been established by the FBI that the Russians successfully hacked the RNC’s emails, possibly exposing weaknesses within the Republican leadership. In fact, it appears that the Russians now possess approximately ten years’ worth of GOP emails, through 2015, when SmarTech, an email and web-hosting firm, stopped hosting the Republican Party’s email accounts. (Tom Del Beccaro, the ex-chairman of the California Republican Party, reported to The Smoking Gun that SmarTech has “admitted being hacked.”) Andy Greenberg, a cyber security and “hacker culture” expert at Wired Magazine, identifies a possible underlying link to a non-policy agenda in his astute observation: “What’s still not clear, of course, is what the RNC’s stolen emails might contain. But the group would be wise to review its older servers for potential scandals. The election may have passed without an RNC leak, but Russia’s intelligence agencies could still be holding onto a few secrets of America’s ruling party.”
Lots more at the link.
